We were charmed by Ms. Haile’s genuine sense of concern

I am pleased to offer my sincerest recommendation to any employer hoping to engage a nursing professional with strong ethical skills, marvelous energy, and a truly compassionate attitude toward the elderly. We hired Ms. Haile when our 93-year old aunt was released from the hospital following a stroke. Complicating matters, my aunt also had end stage dementia, which prevented her from performing any ADLs. Ms. Haile did all of those things for her, AND MORE. For example, an important part of the rehabilitations was daily exercise. My aunt didn’t want to move but Ms. Haile provided encouragement and a positive attitude every single day. My aunt began looking forward to her 10 minutes of exercise every day!

Simultaneously, my uncle (her husband of 50 years) underwent open-heart surgery but the post-operative prognosis proved to be the less than optimal. Ultimately, we decided to bring him home – with hospice care – and once again Ms. Haile was called upon to assist with his care, too. Although we had 24/7 nurses at our home, due to the technical experiences and education Ms. Haile possesses, both doctors AND hospice personnel gratefully accepted her willingness to pitch in when an extra pair of hands were needed.

We were charmed by Ms. Haile’s genuine sense of concern for our aunt and uncle; her patients, in turn, came to love and depend on her as well. Let me say this – the next patient in need of a caring nature and real nursing skill will be lucky to have Ms. Haile at their bedside.

I was amazed that after contacting you that first morning, you were at our doorstep in a matter of hours helping to develop a care plan for my friend. Your team, in their gentle caring manner, assist with bathing, preparing breakfast, running errands, going to doctors’ appointments and making sure she is safe and cared for throughout the day. Did a tremendous amount of work

My mother and father were living in an assisted-living facility for some years before my mother passed away. After my mother died, my father suffered a stroke and needed 24-hour coverage that the facility could not provide. However, they recommended a firm with which they had a long relationship. We were not happy with the care provided by that agency, as the individual hired to assist my father had little medical training and spent the majority of his time sitting in my father’s room and reading.

I consulted Smart Care with Love Home Care Agency, and they worked with the assisted-living facility to become a “Preferred Provider” so I could make a change. This process was time-consuming, and my father died before I could make the change. However, the people at Smart Care with Love Home Care Agency did a tremendous amount of work – at their own cost – to help me get ready for the change. In addition, their fees were more than competitive, and they offered improved coverage and more highly trained caretakers than other agencies.

As an only child, I was the sole caretaker of my 84 year old mother for several months. And even though I knew the time had come, I was quite hesitant and very nervous to seek the help from what I thought would be mere “strangers”.
